When I figure something out that I need to remember in the future, I blog about it! Well, that just happened today. It’s Girl Scout Day Camp registration time again, and I keep forgetting how to change blanks to 0’s in a Google Sheets. Well, I have that on my blog! So, I just looked it up and quickly had my answer. This year, I wanted to do some conditional formatting, so this is what I did:

The thing that stumped me was that I needed to put the = sign in front of the field that I was comparing to. I had already figured out that I needed to stay in the column which is why the $ precedes the cell reference.
Now, I have this documented on my blog…for when I need it next year.
