Perceptive Petal was launched on April 1, 2005 — and that was no “April Fool’s Joke!” The Perceptive Petal site name grew out of the perception game, “Petals Around the Rose” that I played many times at the Iowa Great Teachers’ Workshop. (Followed, of course, by “Bears in the Trees” and “Bulls in the Pasture.”The site is devoted to articles and information about the author’s passions. Currently the categories are: Arts and Crafts, Teaching and Learning, Parenting, Technology, Sewing, and Vitality.The site originally started out as a VB.NET Community Starter Kit Application with multiple communities from one installation.
