Posted on December 1, 2007October 7, 2025 by Lori

Now that is more like it!

Posted on November 30, 2007November 30, 2007 by Lori

I guess I got better being a user, and got my ideas communicated. Here is their new design. What I like is that they have a project management system that generates emails and keeps me up-to-date. My Alter Ego

Posted on November 30, 2007October 7, 2025 by Lori

In Second Life, I am Kiriki Tsure. Yes, folks, you need to know that once you pick your name, you can’t change it unless you create a different avatar entirely! You choose your first name, but your last name you need to pick from a list. I didn’t want to be recognized (ROTFL), so I…

The Building has Commenced!

Posted on November 30, 2007November 30, 2007 by Lori

In my SOW (that is Scope of Work), I indicated an “E”-shaped building. Hidden Window

Posted on November 21, 2007November 30, 2007 by Lori

In using my Epson Scanner with the Smart Panel, I seemed to have lost the Scanning window that displays all of my scanned documents. It appears on my Windows Taskbar, but when I click (or Alt-Tab) to switch to it, the cursor flies to the upper left-hand corner of my monitor off the screen! Solution:…

The given assembly name or code base was invalid.

Posted on November 7, 2007 by Lori

Got this wierd error:  Error while trying to run project.   Could not load file or assembly…or one of its dependencies.  The given assembly name or code base was invalid. Problem solved:  There was an apostrophe in the Project name.  Removed that — and all fixed!

Time to Tune up your PC

Posted on November 5, 2007 by Lori

When was the last time you backed up your data, let alone your entire system?  What happens if your hard drive crashed tomorrow.  How quickly could you recover?  Have you considered online backups?  offsite backups?  any backups?
