Religion in Second Life

As a Noob, I did purchase some land because I wanted to build and create my permanence in Second Life.  Well, I had a free house that was really quite fancy with moving blinds and a fireplace and everything!  I found my spot of land and purchased it, but right after I did I was asked by several people if I wanted to sell it.  I thought that was a funny thing since I just bought it, but people told me that some people sell right away.  They offered me three times what I paid for my little spot of land in the virtual world.  Well, by the next week my neighbors had moved in and crammed their houses right next to mine.  Not real happy about that, but what can I do?  Happens in RL, too!  Now months later, I don’t like the turn my neighborhood has taken, and I do want to move.  There are ads which I am not happy about appearing as I walk around the area.
