I ran across this \u00a030 Days Blog Challenge\u00a0<\/a>(I’m #246 — but the link is wrong).<\/p>\n

I started my blog back in 2005 as a place to store my thoughts, share things I have learned with others, and as a “file cabinet” to find things easier.\u00a0 It has always been more of a personal blog than a professional one.\u00a0 In the past few years, I have been focusing more on educational technology; and I want to take that thread to the next level.<\/p>\n

Through the 30 Day Blog Challenge, I am hoping to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Process all of the draft posts I have.<\/li>\n
  2. Turn ideas into posts.<\/li>\n
  3. Move the blog from hobby to professional.<\/li>\n
  4. Make blogging a priority and focus.<\/li>\n
  5. Set good organizational habits conducive for enhancing the blog.<\/li>\n
  6. Go from “drab” to “fab!”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Here are “The Rules:”<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Write ____ words per day<\/strong>, every day for 30 days (you choose the amount)<\/li>\n
    • Publish ____ posts per week\u00a0<\/strong>(again you choose the amount)<\/li>\n
    • If you miss a day, pick up where you left off.\u00a0Don\u2019t make up<\/strong>\u00a0for lost days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      I am going to go for an obtainable minimum of 250 words per day with at least one published posts per week.\u00a0 My hopes are to underpromise\/under-commit\u00a0and overachieve!<\/p>\n

      I feel I have the time now to give this a shot.\u00a0 So, expect to see great things while I complete this challenge!<\/p>\n
