This is cheating in a way, because I challenged my students to create one educational blog post and tweet a day for the next seven days. I can now do this in one step.<\/p>\n<p>To do this, I started reading this article <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wpbeginner.com\/plugins\/how-to-automatically-send-tweet-when-you-publish-a-new-post-in-wordpress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How to Automatically Tweet When You Publish a New Post in WordPress<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The steps involved included:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u00a0Logging into Twitter and adding a new Application that attached my blog.<\/li>\n<li>Installing, activating, and configuring the Plugin in WordPress.<\/li>\n<li>Testing to make sure everything worked.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>With this done, now a time-saving step has been added.\u00a0 As blog posts are published, a link to them is automatically tweeted by @lwalljasper.<\/p>\n<p>This might be something you may want to try.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I added the WP to Twitter Plugin to WordPress to automatically tweet when I have made a post.
