Thought it was interesting, but a lot of work. At the time, they mentioned Second Life. I didn&#8217;t pay a lot of attention to it &#8212; thinking someday. Well someday is today. I was assigned to teach a course called &#8220;Intro to Game Development.&#8221; After playing with Multimedia Fusion, The 3D Game Maker, 2D and 3D graphic creation programs (Photoshop, Google Sketchup, Milkshape); we moved on into discussion MMOG &#8212; and Second Life. Second Life is really not a game, but an MUVE &#8212; Multi-user Virtual Environment. It is more social and relies on user creation of content much like the Sims games.<\/p>\n<p>I stumbled upon a group Sloodle &#8211; who are connecting the content management system Moodle with Second Life. I joined up and attended one of their &#8220;in world&#8221; tours. &#8220;In world&#8221; is such a cute name for being &#8220;in&#8221; the Second Life virtual world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I went to a conference last Spring and saw OpenCroquet.
