{"id":159,"date":"2008-09-11T07:38:08","date_gmt":"2008-09-11T13:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.perceptivepetal.com\/wordpress\/?p=159"},"modified":"2008-09-11T07:38:08","modified_gmt":"2008-09-11T13:38:08","slug":"snagit9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.perceptivepetal.com\/wordpress\/snagit9\/","title":{"rendered":"SnagIT9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Think of SnagIT as the best way to capture things on your screen &#8212; a much better alternative to the Alt-Print Screen key combination.<\/p>\n<p>I have been a user of SnagIT and am currently using version 5.0.\u00a0 I believe that newer is not always better, and that you need to find a balance between feature upgrades and the cost of those upgrades.\u00a0 After all, software companies are in business to make money &#8212; not just useful tools.\u00a0 Well, I hesitated in upgrading my SnagIT because I truly love the one I am using, and didn&#8217;t see any great advantage to make the switch to the latest, greatest version.\u00a0 Well, I needed SnagIT on a new machine so I decided to check out the latest version trial <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/download\/snagittrial.asp\" title=\"SnagIT Trial Download\">download<\/a>.\u00a0 I fell instantly into the new groove of this software!\u00a0 First of all, the biggest and most welcomed change for me was the fact that you could continue to &#8220;snag&#8221; screen captures without having to process each one individually.\u00a0 SnagIT9 keeps them in a catalog then you have a multitude of ways to process them.\u00a0 I will enjoy my 30-day free trial, but I already know that I&#8217;ll be upgrading to this new version.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Think of SnagIT as the best way to capture things on your screen &#8212; a much better alternative to the Alt-Print Screen key combination.
